Just a reminder to all our class lesson riders: During the Easter holidays, class times will be brought forward.❤️

COVID RESTRICTIONS FROM 19th JULY
At the request of the instructors our Covid restrictions will not change until further notice.
This means that masks are still required to be worn when near an instructor or other member of staff.
The office and yard will remain closed except for limited access during pony days.
Payment terms and conditions will remain the same.
Please do not attend if you are experiencing Covid symptoms or have been asked to isolate.
Thank you all for your cooperation in keeping both our riders and staff safe.

Dear Riders
CLASS LESSONS  -  Payment terms and conditions
Class lessons will restart week beginning 19th April. Except for riders age 18 and over who cannot return until 17th May.
All riders who prepaid for January, except those who are kindly donating that payment towards the horses keep, will not need to pay again until week beginning 17th May 2021.
All riders who have used their credit for private lessons will need to pay for the first 4 weeks of riding by week beginning 19th April.
All class lesson riders’ next payment will be due before the 17th May and will cover the two weeks to the end of May.
From the end of May we will return to our normal monthly payment system as follows –
Payments are calendar monthly in advance, to be made ON OR BEFORE the last ride of the month, NOT AT THE END OF THE MONTH, for the coming month. There are usually 4 lessons per month but occasionally there will be 5.
Late payments will incur a £5 administration fee.
More than two late payments and you will be asked to vacate your class lesson place.
Payment methods for class lessons only
Cheque or cash in an envelope with the riders name written on the front (this may change after covid).
Transfer using riders name as a reference (please call the office for details, amounts etc).
Lessons cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours will be carried forward into next month less £2.50. Lessons cancelled with any less than 24 notice will be charged in full.
Please remember one months’ notice needs to be given if leaving a class.

Here is a reminder of our current Covid rules -
All riders must have their own approved riding hat.
Gloves to be worn at all times.
Face coverings for everyone. Riders can remove theirs once mounted.
Only ONE parent to accompany each child rider.
Adults where possible attend on your own.
There is no access to the yard or toilets.
Payment for private lessons is on the day. Either by cheque or cash (correct money only, we cannot give change) in an envelope with the rider's name written on the front and handed in at the office window.
24 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
Please remember no umbrellas, horses don't like them!

Information about the start of our class lessons will be available soon.

All under 18's who have prepaid their group lessons for January will have their place kept for them and payment carried forward to when we reopen. Anyone who has not yet paid please get in touch as soon as possible.

A BIG THANKYOU to those of you who have already kindly donated your payment towards the upkeep of the horses at this time.

All adult groups, we will assume you wish to return unless we hear otherwise.

We look forward to seeing you all again.

Stay safe!

The Arundel Team

A huge thank you to our wonderful riders who have kindly made donations for the upkeep of our very special horses.  Your support is invaluable as we continue to care for our horses during this difficult period.
We appreciate it is a difficult time for everyone but if any other riders wish to help then you can do so by donating the money from your pre-paid lessons. This would mean we can use that money for the upkeep of the horses. So, if you feel you can help, then please call the office on 01903 882061 and leave a message or send a Facebook message.
Thank you all for your loyalty and support from all at the Arundel Riding Centre and we look forward to seeing you all soon.

Last year we celebrated our 60th anniversary and 40 years of working with the RDA!

Welcome to the Arundel riding centre

We are a BHS approved riding centre located in Arundel - West Sussex.
Here, we give lessons on horse riding for a range of different levels and individual needs.
Our horses and ponies are able to work with a variety of different riders, from beginners to the more experienced, children to adults and lessons can be of select duration and type. For more information on lessons and booking click the lessons and activities page.
For instructions on how to find us go to the location page.

Our history

The 'Arundel Farm Riding and Driving Centre' was started by Joy Leggett in 1960. Originally, she started with just a couple of ponies and only a handful of stables,  but over many years and with a lot of hard work the business grew. The indoor school was built, more ponies and customers came flooding in. Now the 'Arundel Riding Centre' is run by Alison Leggett and her team of dedicated, qualified staff. Improvements are always being made to ensure the best environment we can provide for both people and ponies. To learn more about the facilities available to visitors, see staff and facilities. To have a look at which ponies you may get to see, go to horses and ponies. Then why not come and meet them in person.

Throughout the year we hold Dressage competitions, Clear round jumping, Riding holidays, Pony days and pony parties.  To keep up to date with the events that are happening have a look on our events page.
